All Things 2022
What a year it’s been for Eco Nature! As we draw closer to the end of the year, we wanted to take some time to reflect on 2022, how we’ve grown, and what’s to come in 2023.
We have experienced some really progressive, industry-leading changes in 2022. But alongside that, there are some things that simply will never change.
We are proud to say that our credentials have not, and will not change, and sit right at the heart of everything we do.
This is because it is our mission to make a difference by producing carbon-neutral, recycled, sustainable & ethical products that are made in the UK.
Our credentials allow us to ensure we are constantly working towards this mission, therefore, they will never change.
Our products and packaging are entirely plastic-free. As we have launched new products, such as our card range, we’ve innovated new kinds of recycled packaging.
We continue to explore new ways in which we can package our products, without the need for plastic or any unnecessary packaging.
We saw the launch of our everyday collection this summer, which was inspired by British gardens. This is stocked in Tescos, Card Factory, TKMaxx, and more. We have to admit, the feeling of seeing our lovingly designed products stocked with household names such as these never fails to make every one of our team members smile and feel proud.
When you come across us in these shops, you’ll notice that familiar little FSC logo. All of our products and packaging are made from recycled materials and can be fully recycled.
Whilst our goal is for our products to be on trend and seasonal, it is also a non-negotiable for us that they have minimal impact on the environment.
Of course, we highly encourage anyone who purchases our products to reuse them, and we have plenty of tips and tutorials around creative ways to do this on our Instagram.
Make a conscious effort this Christmas to save any wrapping paper and stash it away, ready for when you feel like being creative. If you create something using one of our tutorials, don’t forget to tag us!
Continuing on with our goal of having minimal impact on the environment, all of our products are proudly made in the UK, and this will never change. There are a couple of reasons why. This results in zero sea freight, protecting both marine life and improving the oceans’ CO² balance.
Our gift bags, roll wrap, and accessories are produced within our UK manufacturing site, maintaining demand for British employment. We are passionate about creating a team of UK employees that we can nurture and who can develop their skills and careers within Eco Nature. This also means that our team knows Eco Nature through and through!
We simply can’t reflect on 2022 without mentioning our very important work with The Woodland Trust. We have continued to invest in their Woodland Carbon scheme to mitigate all emissions resulting from the production of all Eco Nature products, which will go towards helping make the Eco Nature Range carbon neutral.
As a brand, we are proud to be working towards being carbon neutral. Our carbon offsetting creates sustainable woodlands, planting UK native trees with a unique focus on protecting nature. Our tree planting gradually captures carbon over time, reducing the environmental impact of our business, it benefits wildlife and society, too!
What’s to come next year?
We can’t pretend we haven’t been working on our 2023 products for some time now, and whilst we can’t reveal all of the exciting things we have planned just yet, we can confidently say that no matter how we progress and develop, our credentials and values will never change.
We also look forward to continuing to work with The Woodland Trust toward being carbon neutral.
